Christmas tree at Wimpole, Cambridgeshire

Christmas at Wimpole

Celebrate Christmas at Wimpole with a Georgian twist this year. There will be seasonal music, singing, food, decorations, walks and craft activities. Step inside to see several of the showrooms, bedecked with Christmas decorations, then head below stairs, which are more humbly decorated.

1960's Christmas at Anglesey Abbey

Tinsel and Tweed at Anglesey Abbey

Take a step back in time to the 1960s at Anglesey Abbey. Revel in festive smells and glitzy vintage decorations throughout the Domestic Wing. In contrast to celebrations ‘below stairs’, the rest of the house will be dressed-to-impress for his Lordship’s Christmas celebrations.

Child decorating a Christmas tree

A community affair at Peckover

Selected rooms of the house will be decorated for Christmas with festive floral arrangements, plus Christmas trees from community groups. Enjoy music from local choirs and musicians or treat yourself to a glass of wine and homemade mince pie in the Reed Barn.
