Players of Postcode Lottery have been supporting National Trust since 2013, raising an incredible £8,681,500 to date. We want to say a massive thank you to all the players for helping people and nature to thrive.

Connecting with nature everywhere

Thanks to players, our annual Festival of Blossom now supports community nature celebrations and cultural events across the nation and in many large towns and cities. The feeling of hope that the blossom season brings has been harnessed to inspire millions to connect to nature and each other through the Festival, with a quarter of a million people taking part annually through events and many more engaging with the seasonal prompts in their homes and community spaces.

Connecting with the culture on our doorsteps

Funding from players is helping to connect people with their local history through Heritage Open Days - England's largest annual festival of history and culture.

Heritage Open Days connects communities and helps people discover the stories on their doorstep, from architectural wonders to cultural traditions like sea shanty singing. And thanks to players’ support, it’s completely free to access.

Restore the nature we love

We're working to restore and improve some of the most incredible landscapes in our care, so people and nature can thrive. And with players’ support, there’ll be more opportunities for communities living near the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and north Devon to get involved and make a big difference.

I am delighted that funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, and awarded to the National Trust, will continue to support Heritage Open Days, the Festival of Blossom as well as helping connect people with nature across the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and north Devon in 2025.
