Voices of the Fen: Listening Walk
This International Dawn Chorus Day, join Sound Artist Kathy Hinde on a walk along the boardwalk to listen to Wicken Fen from a new perspective.

Via a range of different specialised microphones, will be able to tune in to sounds you may not usually notice, and sounds that would usually be inaccessible to human ears, such as listening underwater, inside trees and underground, deep into the peat to discover many of the different Voices of the Fen. Each listener will be provided with a set of wireless headphones for a shared listening experience.
Recommended age 8+ Under 18’s must attend with an adult.

- Meeting point
Check in at the Visitor Centre a few minutes before the start of the event.
- What to bring and wear
Wear sturdy shoes suitable for walking and dress for the weather. Bring water to drink.
- Accessibility
Assistance dogs are welcome. The Boardwalk is accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Free guided walk, but normal admission applies to non-members, along with £3.20 car parking fee.
