Juicing the harvest
Join Acorn Bank gardener Bronwyn and her team to taste freshly juiced apples from the orchard. You might be surprised at the flavours!

There are 165 varieties of apple grown at Acorn Bank, some dating back centuries. During these sessions, we'll juice what's ripe for you to have a free taste. You can watch the process * and then try the result. Every batch is different and often with surprising flavours. The Acorn Bank garden team will be on hand for you to have a chat with.
* Juicing will take about 10 minutes at the start of the session, so if you want to see the pressing, be sure to be there on the dot! After that there will be samples available to taste for 20 minutes or so.

Please check out the main Acorn Bank webpage under the header 'Accessibility' or get in touch to have a chat. The dovecot is on level ground, gravel surface within the tramper accessible area.
- Meeting point
The juicing will take place in front of the Dovecote which is near the café.
- Suitability for children
Children are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring and wear
As the juicing takes place outdoors, please dress for the weather that day.
