Chapterhouse Theatre Company are delighted to present Louisa May Alcott’s beloved coming of age story, hosted in the Walled Garden at Gibside.

This summer, meet headstrong Jo March and her sisters Meg, Amy, and Beth. Each sister is determined to pursue her own path in life, but though their dreams may be different, their family ties remain as true as ever.
An uplifting and heartfelt tale of the March sisters’ journey into adulthood and all the trials and triumphs that come with it, Little Women features authentic costuming and a beautiful musical score. The performance will take place in Gibside's very own Walled Garden.
Refreshments will be available to purchase, but guests are also welcome to bring their own.

Park in the car park and make your way to the Walled Garden.
- What to bring and wear
Please bring your own rugs or low-backed seating. The performance takes place outside, we recommend you wear weather appropriate clothing.
- Accessibility
The route from the carpark to Walled Garden is on an incline, please leave 10 minutes to walk from your car. Pathways are suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. There is an accessible toilet in Market Place.

Gates open at 5.30pm and the show begins at 6.30pm. Refreshments will be available to purchase, and we welcome you to bring along your own refreshments.
