Take a break in the Ormesby Hall café, tucked away in the historic servants' wing of the house.
There’s a small seating area within the café itself, but part of the experience is choosing somewhere a little different to sit. Settle into the cosy Snug, take your food and drink into the spacious Victorian kitchen, or find a table outside in the garden when the weather is on your side.
It makes the café a great place to stop during a family day out, catch up over coffee and cake or simply take a break before exploring more of Ormesby Hall.
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, savoury snacks, scones, cakes and seasonal treats, with options available to eat in or take away.
Fancy something sweet? Pair a hot drink with a scone or slice of cake. Looking for something savoury? You'll find a changing selection of hot and cold snacks to keep you going during your visit.
Look out for seasonal additions throughout the year too, particularly during some of our special events and school-holiday activities.
Four-legged visitors haven't been forgotten either, with dog ice cream available for an extra treat after exploring the estate. Dogs are welcome in the gardens, courtyards and wider estate, although only assistance dogs can enter the café.
Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

During the summer months and selected events, our Stables kiosk opens with a selection of ice creams, cold drinks and snacks - perfect for enjoying outside.
At some of our larger events, you'll also find our pop-up kiosk in front of Ormesby Hall, serving hot and cold drinks alongside seasonal snacks.

You're very welcome to bring a picnic and find your favourite spot in the gardens.
