Cosy up with us at Stowe this Christmas! Sip hot chocolates in the café, pick out beautiful gifts in the Stowe shop and head into the gardens for our community Stowemen trail, where you can discover a selection of snowmen - or as we like to call them, Stowemen - all individually designed by local community groups.

Do you want to build a Stoweman?

This winter, National Trust’s Stowe Gardens will be host to a gathering of community snowmen, or as we like to call them, STOWEMEN!

Individually designed by local community groups, clubs and associations, schools, choirs, and sports teams – they’ll form a trail around the gardens at Stowe this Christmas.

Do you fancy creating a Stoweman to represent your group, team, association or club? If so, submit your expression of interest before midnight on 15 September 2025 by clicking here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/stowemen

The Stowemen Trail will be displayed in the gardens from 15 November 2025 until 4 January 2026. Visitors will be able to vote on their favourite Stoweman.

You'll have the opportunity to include artist names, website details, QR codes, and details about your club, team, group or association on the back of your Stoweman.

We have a limited number of figures available for adoption. You'll need to be able to take delivery of the blank figure in September, decorate it and return it by Monday 3 November latest. Figures are 1.7m high. There is no cost to take part. What would yours look like?
