Twilights at Standen 2026
Step inside the house & experience the magic of Standen in the evening, with rooms lit and decorated for Christmas. Soak up the atmosphere as night falls. Sat 5 & Sun 6, Sat 12 & Sun 13, Sat 19 & Sun 20 Dec: 3.30pm - 6pm.

Gather round the courtyard Christmas tree to hear choirs sing from 3.30pm. The tree has been decorated by Standen’s volunteers and staff. Last entry to house is 5pm. Last order in the cafe is 5.45. The shop is open for late evening gift shopping - our William Morris collection is a highlight - and the cafe will be serving seasonal drinks and festive food.

Spookiful at Standen
A spooky but not scary trail round the garden with Halloween inspired activities on the way. Sat 3 Oct - Sun 1 Nov: 10am - 3.30pm. £3 per trail with a small free gift included. Normal admission applies.
The Merry Mice Christmas Trail
Set off on a playful adventure around the garden and follow the Merry Mice family Christmas trail. The cheeky mice have been getting up to all sorts of Christmas mayhem and need your help to put things right! Trail £4.50 which includes a small gift.
Dreaming of Christmas at Standen
It’s Christmas and the Beale family have decorated their home in festive splendour, inspired by its beautiful Arts and Crafts interiors. Open daily, no need to book ahead. Sat 21 Nov – Tue 5 Jan. House open 11am - 3.30pm with last entry at 3pm.
Christmas Selling Exhibition
The Sussex Guild will be at Standen every day for some inspired Christmas shopping from Sat 21 Nov - Wed 23 Dec.
