To hear this work performed by Alex Postlethwaite and John Moore in the setting of Elgar’s birthplace: an emotional touchstone for Elgar throughout his life, will be an unforgettable experience.
The concert will begin with a performance of Franck’s Violin Sonata in A Major: a tender, tempestuous, teasing conversation between violin and piano, this work is presented by Alex and John with their trademark flair.
