Eating and drinking at Croft Castle

From breakfast to lunch or afternoon tea, we've got everything on the menu in the tea-room. Take away a snack as you head off into the park or come after your walk and enjoy our indoor glazed seating area; you can still bring your dog in with you to enjoy your meal away from the elements.

What's on the menu?

Our tea-room serves a menu of delicious hot and cold lunches every day to suit every taste, using seasonal ingredients from our gardens as much as possible.

Choose from freshly made soup of the day and sandwiches or one of our cooked lunches. Hot lunches are served most days from 12noon to 3pm, and we always include a vegetarian option. If you'd like to enjoy a peaceful morning and escape the hustle and bustle, we also serve breakfast from 10am to 12pm every day. We've got sausage or bacon baps, toasted tea cakes, beans on toast and if you're after a lighter bite, jam on toast or cereal.

Why not try our Croft apple cider cake this autumn? Made using local Dunkerton's Black Fox Cider, which you can also try, and made using apples from the walled garden.

So whether it's a treat with your morning coffee or a full afternoon tea we will have something to tempt you (and plently of parkland to walk it off).

From plot to plate

Did you know that nearly all of the fruit, salad and vegetables served in the Carpenters tea-room are grown in our very own walled garden?
