Eating and drinking at Croft Castle

Cutting a slice of cake

We’ve sadly taken the decision to close our parks and gardens, in addition to our houses, shops and cafés, to help restrict the spread of coronavirus. We know that people are likely to need space and fresh air in the coming weeks and months and we will do all we can to provide access wherever possible. Our countryside and coastal locations remain open with parking charges waived, but we encourage people to stay local and observe social distancing measures.

What's on the menu?

Our tea-room serves a menu of delicious hot and cold lunches every day to suit every taste, using seasonal ingredients from our gardens as much as possible.

Choose from freshly made soup of the day and sandwiches or one of our cooked lunches. Hot lunches are served most days from 12noon to 3pm, and we always include a vegetarian option. If you'd like to enjoy a peaceful morning and escape the hustle and bustle, we also serve breakfast from 10am to 12pm every day. We've got sausage or bacon baps, toasted tea cakes, beans on toast and if you're after a lighter bite, jam on toast or cereal.

From plot to plate

Did you know that nearly all of the fruit, salad and vegetables served in the Carpenters tea-room are grown in our very own walled garden?
