Play the natural way

We’ve some fantastic natural play areas at our places and everything you need for a really wild family time. Pick up a ‘50 things to do’ scrapbook when you visit and tick off as many wild activities as you can.

The natural play areas at our special places have plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered. Test yourself on balance beams, fly high on a rope swing, have fun hiding in a willow hut or climb a dragon!

Created by our rangers and volunteers using the natural resources of the surrounding woodlands, the fun obstacles allow childen to challenge themselves physically and create their own mini-adventures along the way.

When you visit, don't forget to pick up a '50 things to do before you're 11 3/4' adventure scrapbook and see how many of the challenges you can complete.

Explore the great outdoors – it’s time for kids to let their legs and their imagination run wild.
