Markets and fairs
Stock up on seasonal goodies at Crafted at Castle Ward (26 November) The Argory Christmas Fair (3 & 4 December), and the Rowallane Yuletide Market (10-11 December). Browse dozens of craft and food stalls, enjoy festive entertainment and soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
Festive floral art
Join the gardening team at Rowallane Garden who will be creating festive wreaths along with the head gardener demonstrating her floral art skills in the stableyard, in preparation for the yuletide market. Every day until 9 December.
Gingerbread man decorating
Round off a visit to Rowallane Garden with a visit to the cafe where your little elves can use their crafting skills to decorate a scrumptious gingerbread man. 12 - 14 December, 12 noon - 2.30pm.
It wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to Santa. Meet Father Christmas when he stops at Castle Ward, Mount Stewart, The Argory and Castle Coole. As Father Christmas is a very busy man please call and book in advance if you want to visit him this festive season.
