About Spring Cottage

For a romantic Cotswold getaway that oozes rustic charm, stay at Spring Cottage. Inside the one-bedroom nook, original low beamed ceilings, wood burner and mosaicked floors add to its country cottage character. It sits in the secluded, but pretty village of Snowshill, where signs of modern-day life are sparse. 

Just opposite the cottage is 16th-century Snowshill Manor House and Garden, where guests can enjoy complimentary entry during opening hours. Stop for a stroll through the grounds and a cream-tea before exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. Loop onto the Cotswold Way long distance footpath for walks into the surrounding countryside.  

Further afield, discover Stratford-upon-Avon, a historic town just a short drive away. Explore this riverside town, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and get lost in its pretty medieval streets.

Heating: Night storage heating included. 

Parking: In the National Trust residents car park near the cottage.

Garden: Small steep terraced garden to the rear. 

Television: A television and DVD are provided but please note the reception can be poor. Guests may wish to bring DVDs

Dogs: Only assistance dogs are permitted in the house, gardens and grounds of Snowshill Manor. However, there are plenty of public footpaths in the local area for dog friendly walks. Please keep your dog on a lead around livestock.

Property opening times: Please note that Snowshill Manor and gardens are open 7 days a week from mid-March to the end of October and weekends only in November. All other times, the property is closed. For exact opening dates, please visit the property webpage.

Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.

Holiday cottage guests have free entry to Snowshill House and Gardens during opening hours and discount in the National Trust shop upon showing their confirmation invoice.
