About Conserving the moors and dales of the Peak District
Help to improve the biodiversity of the Peak District.Currently we are undertaking a huge landscape scale project to improve the biodiversity and landscape of the Dark Peak Estate. Come along to help with the moorland conservation and valley woodland works which are presently ongoing. Your days may include planting vital moorland plants such as Sphagnum Moss and management of recently planted Clough woodland.
About the accommodation
A fully converted farmhouse situated at the western end of Edale. The bunkhouse lies at the foot of the 538m Horse Hill Tor with views of Kinder Scout. It is surrounded by working farms and a wooded garden with a stream.
