About The Drogo Experience

Helping look after the collections, gardens and estate at a special Dartmoor place.

Join the team at Castle Drogo for an all-round property experience.  In the garden you’ll be helping clearing brash, brambles, path widening, removing invasive species and coppicing holly.  Further afield you’ll spend time on the stunning Castle Drogo Estate and Fingle woods with its hot, dry heathlands, dramatic rocky crags, internationally important Oak woodlands and dark and mysterious stands of Conifer trees. You will help with managing the woodlands and heathlands for wildlife and diversity, helping species such as the Dormouse and Pearl Bordered Frittillary butterfly.  Inside you’ll spend time at Castle Drogo and neighbouring Parke helping look after our collections and interiors by cleaning, waxing and condition reporting.
