About The Victorian Laundry

This holiday apartment is on the first floor above the Victorian Laundry, only 45 yards from the historic Beningbrough Hall.

This recently refurbished spacious apartment has a large open-plan sitting/dining-room with views into the courtyard and across the parkland. Explore the gardens and grounds exclusively after the visitors have gone home. You’re also welcome to come into the house for free when open and see the impressive baroque interiors and extensive portrait collection.

From the apartment you can take a walk into Newton-on-Ouse and enjoy the village pubs, or stretch your legs with some gentle riverside walks.

You’re also only about eight miles from York city centre and a little further afield you’ll find Harrogate.
