Christmas by day...

Join us as we celebrate in the house

There’ll be an air of sumptuous festivity in the house, with extravagantly decorated Christmas trees, garlanded fireplaces and a dining room set for a fabulous Christmas feast. Enter into the family festivities by adding a few pieces to a jigsaw, playing dominoes, or reading a special book in a cozy nook. This year for the first time we’re opening the Library, decorated as a quiet retreat for whichever members of the family are escaping the festive merriment!

Christmas after dark

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Christmas at Kingston Lacy illuminated light event has been cancelled on Saturday 1 Jan and Sunday 2 Jan. All ticket holders will be contacted by SeeTickets shortly. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

3-5 December and 8 December-2 January

There'll be an after-dark illuminated trail through festive gardens this Christmas at Kingston Lacy. Spend time together and create everlasting memories as you make your way through the mesmerising trail. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note, dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not allowed on the trail, which runs through the formal garden. The trail is filled with stimulus that could upset or even hurt dogs. There will be flashing lights, speaker sounds, fire, fairground rides and many people. The safety of dogs was at the forefront of our mind when making this decision.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year when twinkling lights and seasonal sounds will fill the air with festive fun at Kingston Lacy.

Look forward to some time together as you discover sparkling tunnels of light, walk under giant baubles and beneath the trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, gaze at the specially chosen illuminations and don't forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way. Complete your walk under the stars with a spiced winter warmer* or hot chocolate* for a luxurious treat.
