We’ve got lots of ways to celebrate the season at Kingston Lacy in 2021, bringing you all the sparkle of this most magical time of the year. Join us for a winter wander in a festive wonderland.

There'll be an after-dark illuminated trail through festive gardens this Christmas at Kingston Lacy. Spend time together and create everlasting memories as you make your way through the mesmerising trail. Book early to avoid disappointment.

3-5 December and 8 December-2 January

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year when twinkling lights and seasonal sounds will fill the air with festive fun at Kingston Lacy.

Look forward to some time together as you discover sparkling tunnels of light, walk under giant baubles and beneath the trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, gaze at the specially chosen illuminations and don't forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way. Complete your walk under the stars with a spiced winter warmer* or hot chocolate* for a luxurious treat.

National Trust members

National Trust members receive free car parking. Simply select parking at the time of booking and your member parking will be validated on the evening of your visit by checking your membership card.

Percy the Park Keeper’s winter wander trail at Kingston Lacy  

Out in the parkland, treat your little ones to a world of adventures at Kingston Lacy with Percy the Park Keeper's winter wander trail. Join in the fun with Percy and his animal friends and give nature a hand – you’re needed because it’s a busy time for Percy and he could use all the help he can get! There will be winter tasks, activities, games and clues to keep everyone active along the way, with a prize at the end.

The trail costs £2 (normal entry fees apply) and takes place between 4 December-3 January, so come along and explore the beautiful parkland at Kingston Lacy. Booking not needed.

See the house lavishly decorated for Christmas

There’ll be an air of sumptuous festivity in the house, with extravagantly decorated Christmas trees, garlanded fireplaces and a dining room set for a fabulous Christmas feast. Enter into the family festivities by adding a few pieces to a jigsaw, playing dominoes, or reading a special book in a cozy nook.

This year for the first time we’re opening the Library, decorated as a quiet retreat for whichever members of the family are escaping the family madness!
