All weekend May is National Walking month, so kickstart the month with a walk in the great outdoors this Bank Holiday Monday. At Portstewart Strand take the route less travelled and enjoy the Sand dune and estuary trail that meanders through 6,000 year-old dunes to the river edge at the Bann Estuary. Walk through the dunes where wildflowers dance in the breeze, and step into a different world of colourful butterflies and birds.

Monday 1st May Join our Ranger from 11am-1pm for a scenic 9km trail in Florence Court forest. At the highest viewpoint enjoy panoramic views of Fermanagh, Lough Erne and beyond, and learn a little more about the estate and its surroundings along the way. Sturdy footwear is essential.

Saturday 29th April Join our Ranger on a walk along unspoilt tracks and across hidden stiles of Ballyquintin Farm on the Ards Peninsula from 10.30am-12.30pm. This ramble will be packed with beautiful scenery, interesting tales and colourful wildlife. It is suitable for age 8 years plus with an accompanying adult, but not suitable for dogs. Have a go at archery in the very place where the BAFTA award winning TV show Game of Thrones was filmed - in our courtyard which was the setting for 'Winterfell'.
