October half-term and Hallowe'en in Cambridgeshire

We've got pumpkin patches, scary spiders, creaking staircases and secret doorways, just some of the ingredients you'll need for a spooky Hallowe'en adventure. From pumpkin carving and walks after dark (for those brave enough), to autumn crafts and bug hunts, here are some of our places you might like to visit with the family this October half-term.

Children helping with a pumpkin crop

Wimpole Estate, Cambridgeshire

Come and join us for some pumpkin carving fun down at Wimpole Home Farm throughout half-term.

Boy putting conkers into a jar

Anglesey Abbey, Cambridgeshire

Why not head to Hoe Fen Wildlife Discovery Area, or become a trainee conservationist? We're opening earlier from 9:30am during half-term giving you more time to meet up with friends or gather the family for unlimited outdoor adventures.

Geocaching at Wicken Fen

Wicken Fen, Cambridgeshire

Go wild at Wicken Fen this half-term. Why not enjoy geocaching, bird watching, cooking on a campfire or heading off on a long bike ride? We’ll also have our Fenland Spooktacular that you won’t want to miss (booking essential). Join us for spooky games, mysterious trails and ghostly crafts.

Peckover House and Garden

Peckover House

Our autumn trail for families will help your family explore the garden at Peckover and its seasonal delights. Enjoy damson jam in the Reed Barn tearoom after a walk, made from damson's picked from the garden!
