Meet Percy in person!

Daily from Sun 26 Dec until Mon 3 Jan, 10.30am - 2pm. You'll find him in his shed, where you can stop for a chat, or you can go for a walk with him in the garden. He'll be telling you jokes, singing songs with you and even getting you to help with some of his garden jobs.

See the house richly decorated with sumptuous Christmas trees and sparkling lights. Look out for the Messel family's original Christmas decorations too. The House opens for Christmas from 19th November.

Whether it’s a misty, grey day or a bright blue sky with frost on the ground, there’s plenty to see with pops of colour from the heathers and winter flowering camellias as well as the wonderful scent of Winter Walk.

Christmas Pudding Pootle

Overindulged this Christmas? Then why not challenge yourself to our Christmas Pudding Pootle down in the woodland? A fun calorie buster walk for all the family along waymarked woodland paths where you’ll be counting the calories off as you go. From the entrance to the woodland, follow the Christmas pudding waymarkers along the trail counting how many Christmas pudding calories you’ve burnt off at each point. The route doesn’t include any steps although there are changes in gradient. Total distance: 1.7 miles/ 2.75km. Allow 50 minutes to enjoy your walk. From 26 December until 3 January.

Enjoy the surroundings of a peaceful winter garden on our wellbeing walk this January. Look out for points around the garden highlighting some of our favourite places to pause and unwind. Each spot has some inspiring words for you to reflect on, so slow down, breathe deeply and take in the moment. From Fri 7 Jan until Mon 31 Jan, 10am - 4pm.

This winter experience Ignite: a brand new after dark experience in the garden at Nymans. From Friday 11 February 2022 until Sunday 6 March 2022 step into an enchanting landscape and enjoy moments of reflection and playful discovery along this brand new illuminated trail.
