The enclosed garden at Shaw's Corner provides the perfect location for a family visit. From children's trails to garden games, there's plenty on offer.
Planning your visit
Here's some information to help make your family visit to Shaw's Corner as easy to enjoy as possible:
- The paths around the garden are pushchair friendly.
- There is a toilet but no baby changing facilities. If you need somewhere to change your child then please speak to a member of our team.
- The garden is enclosed with gated entry.
- There is plenty of space for picnics and we have a small selection of ice creams, snacks, hot and cold drinks available to purchase.
- Please help yourself to the garden games we have available to borrow. Please note the garden is not suitable for ball games.
Easter Adventures: Shaw's Through The Lens
Easter Adventures: Shaw's Through The Lens. Step into the world of George Bernard Shaw - not just the famous playwright, but also a curious photographer with a sharp eye for detail.Make your way along the trail and become explorers on this special trail filled with Shaw's photographs.
Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. All accompanying adults will be required to pay normal admission charge of £5.50 each, free for National Trust members.
*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Summer Story Time in the Orchard
Step into the orchard, where stories bloom like apples on the trees. Gather not only to listen, but to travel back in time—into the world of George Bernard Shaw and the remarkable child authors who once shared his friendship.
Books will be tailored to suit the ages in attendance.
