Join walk leaders for a scenic walk from Crook Hall Gardens to Durham University's Oriental Museum, discovering the city's history as you go. Includes a 20 minute visit to the Oriental Museum (free entry).
This is a circular route, returning to Crook Hall Gardens at the end. It is approximately 4 miles/6.5km and will take around 2 hours.
Free, no need to book. If you wish to visit Crook Hall Gardens before or after the walk admission applies (free for National Trust members).

This route is 4 miles long and includes some steps and uneven surfaces. Includes gentle inclines. Suitable for anyone who is able to complete the distance on foot.

Meet in Crook Hall Gardens car park. Parking £3.30 up to 3 hours, free for National Trust members.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring and wear
Sturdy walking shoes/boots and weather appropriate clothing advised. Please bring a drink, plus a snack if needed.
