Social walks with the National Trust

Join our community walk leader volunteers for a social walk at Cookham Commons. On the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month starting from Friday 2 October 2026 at 9:30am.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join us for a relaxed and friendly walk across the landscape of Cookham Commons. This gentle guided stroll is a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, discover the wildlife and history of the commons, and connect with others in a welcoming setting.

As we wander through open heathland, woodland paths and wide countryside views, you'll have the chance to learn more about this special place and the work that helps care for it. Whether you're new to walking groups or simply looking to meet like-minded people, everyone is welcome.

This sociable walk is taken at a comfortable pace and lasts approximately 90 minutes, with plenty of opportunities to chat, enjoy the scenery and take in the changing seasons.

Please note: Walks are subject to volunteer availability.
