Embrace the festive season and celebrate Christmas with us here at Moseley Old Hall.
Christmas decorations through the ages
During our open days between Saturday 29 November 2025 - Sunday 4 January 2026 (please check our website for information on open days)
Step into Christmas through the ages at Moseley Old Hall, where the house is transformed to reveal festive traditions from the 17th century, the 1940s, and the 1980s. With festive swags along the staircase, a roaring fire in the Hall, and the scent of greenery and spice filling the rooms, our wonderful volunteers make Moseley a truly magical place to be at Christmas.
Explore how the Whitgreave family marked the Twelve Days in the 1660s, see how the Wiggin family revived the Hall in the 1940s, and discover what Christmas was like for David Lee’s family living here in the 1980s as custodians for the National Trust.
Wander at your own pace or join one of our ad-hoc Christmas house tours, offered when volunteers are available, and enjoy the stories, settings and seasonal atmosphere of Christmas across the centuries.
No booking required; normal admission costs apply.
