Bring the whole family along for an adventure at Uppark. Look out for wildlife on a nature walk around the meadow, enjoy a picnic with spectacular views or try flying your kite on the breeze over the South Downs.

Planning your family visit

  • It is free to enter our gardens, cafe and second-hand bookshop
  • Baby-changing facilities are available by the bookshop
  • Pushchairs are allowed everywhere on site but due to narrow doorways and historic carpets, we do not allow them in the house
  • Children are welcome on tours of the house - our brilliant volunteers will do everything they can to help keep everyone entertained!
  • We do ask that there are no ball games played in the garden and meadow - due to the risk of damage to historic buildings.
