We'll be open exclusively for our Father Christmas event, but you're still very welcome to pop into the café for a warm drink and a festive bite.

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

Join us on Saturday 29 November, either 10am–12:30pm or 2pm–4:30pm, for a festive wreath-making workshop surrounded by seasonal decorations and twinkling lights.

Create your own beautiful wreath using natural, locally grown materials— with expert guidance from Bonterre Bloom. No air miles, no single-use plastic, just sustainable festive cheer!

All materials are provided, and you’ll take home your handmade wreath ready for the season.

Tickets: £45 per person.

Meet Father Christmas at The Firs – A Magical Christmas Adventure!

Saturday 6, Sunday 7, Saturday 13, Sunday 14 and Friday 19 & Tuesday 23 December (private event/ticket required)

Step into our winter wonderland, where twinkling lights, festive cheer, and the magic of Christmas await! Father Christmas is making a special stop at our idyllic cottage, and he’s bringing his jolliest elves along for the fun.

What’s in store for your festive visit?

• A Heartwarming Visit with Father Christmas - Share your Christmas wishes in the cosy cottage and receive a special gift from Father Christmas himself.

• Help in the North Pole Sorting Office - Sort letters and parcels ready for their magical journey around the world.

• Write Your Letter to Father Christmas - Craft your perfect Christmas list at the letter-writing station and post it in our speedy delivery post box.

• Get Crafty in the Elf Workshop - Create your own Christmas decoration to take home.

• Reindeer search in the Gardens - Father Christmas’s reindeer are hiding—can you find them all?

• Snap a Photo in the Sleigh - Climb aboard Father Christmas’s sleigh and capture a magical memory.

• Festive Treats at Little Al’s Café - Warm up with hot drinks, light lunches, and seasonal goodies from 10am–4:30pm.

Dates: Father Christmas is at The Firs on 6–7, 13–14, and 19–23 December.

Tickets: £20 per child (includes up to two accompanying adults). Booking is essential, please note you are booking the time to see Father Christmas.

Opening Hours: 9:45am to 5:00pm, come early or stay after your visit to Father Christmas to enjoy all the festive activities in the visitor centre and gardens.
