What's more, some of our cottages are pet-friendly. Assistance dogs are permitted at our properties, but we ask that you please notify us at the time of booking if you wish to bring an assistance dog with you.

We are always looking for ways to improve accessibility in our cottages, from adding wet rooms and grab rails, to shower seats, ramps and emergency alarms. Every booking helps support our work looking after special places for ever, for everyone.

Situated on the edge of Northumberland National Park, Peel Cottage makes an ideal accessible holiday escape. This wheelchair and dog-friendly cottage has an all-access environment, from ramps and grab rails, to a wheel in shower and accessible bath. Feel like a world away by taking advantage of the dark skies and enjoy gazing up at the stars, or unwind by the cosy wood burning fire. Venture down to Allen Banks and Staward Gorge to discover the woodland trails. Sleeps 2.

Fancy waking up to sweeping views across the Cornish coast or stay within some military history? Sitting on St Anthony Head, this adapted holiday cottage is perfect for visitors with additional needs. The modifications include ramp access, internal sliding doors, accessible plugs and light switches and an adjustable height shower with a hinged seat in the wet room. Tour the coastline, with a tarmac path leading to a viewpoint overlooking St. Mawes, Falmouth. Sleeps 4.

Newly refurbished, the 18th-century farm building has been restored using traditional materials as well as incorporating modern green technology, giving it bundles of character. Thoughtful modifications allow the cottage to be widely accessible to everyone, with a gentle entrance slope, step-free environment and a bathroom with a wet room shower. Sleeps 2.

The two-storey cottage is a perfectly equipped disabled holiday cottage with everything accessible on the ground floor, from generous space to a modified level access en-suite bathroom with grab rails and a free-standing shower seat. With the exposed beams, traditional furnishings and a warming log-burner, nothing shouts comfort more than this. Sleeps 6.

Set in the west wing of Bosloe House, the ground floor of this remodelled two-storey large country house makes it fully accessible for visitors in wheelchairs or those who are less mobile. With everything they need situated on the lower floor this is the perfect disabled holiday cottage for family and friends. It has been accommodated with a level shower wet room, shower seat and an emergency assistance alarm as well as an ample of space throughout the ground floor. Sleeps 8.
