Take a look at accessible holiday cottages for you to enjoy and create memories with family or friends. Our thoughtfully equipped and comfortable wheelchair-friendly cottages are located in surroundings perfect for a relaxing retreat or fun-filled adventure.

What's more, some of our cottages are pet-friendly. Please let us know when you book if you would like to bring an assistance dog with you.

We are always looking for ways to improve accessibility in our cottages, from adding wet rooms and grab rails, to shower seats, ramps and emergency alarms. Every booking helps support our work looking after special places for ever, for everyone.

From this welcoming dairy cottage, you'll have your own gate into the Weir Garden's historic walled garden. Its comfortable, modern interior has accessible rooms on the ground floor including a wheelchair-friendly twin bedroom and wet room. Sleeps 10.

This modern barn is a warm and welcoming retreat, with an accessible king-size bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. Sleeps six.

Restharrow and Tanner Brow from the lakeside field, Cumbria

Restharrow, Cumbria 

Relax in this peaceful spot after days out exploring the Lake District. It's just 130 metres from the shore of Lake Windermere and looks out over fields toward the water. Restharrow is a fully accessible ground-floor apartment with wheelchair-friendly features throughout. Walk, cycle, fish or get out on the lake; there are plenty of bustling towns, attractions and adventurous activities for all ability levels nearby. Sleeps two.

Set in the west wing of Bosloe House, the ground floor of this remodelled two-storey large country house makes it fully accessible for guests in wheelchairs or those who are less mobile, wiith everything you need on the ground floor. There's a level-shower wet room, shower seat and an emergency assistance alarm as well as plenty of space throughout the ground floor. Sleeps eight.

The Major's Quarter, Cornwall Fancy waking up to sweeping views across the Cornish coast or stay within some military history? Sitting on St Anthony Head, this adapted holiday cottage is perfect for visitors with additional needs. The modifications include ramp access, internal sliding doors, accessible plugs and light switches and an adjustable height shower with a hinged seat in the wet room. Tour the coastline, with a tarmac path leading to a viewpoint overlooking St. Mawes, Falmouth. Sleeps four.

Situated on the edge of Northumberland National Park, Peel Cottage makes an ideal accessible holiday escape. This wheelchair and dog-friendly cottage has an all-access environment, from ramps and grab rails, to a wheel in shower and accessible bath. Feel like a world away by taking advantage of the dark skies and enjoy gazing up at the stars, or unwind by the cosy wood burning fire. Venture down to Allen Banks and Staward Gorge to discover the woodland trails. Sleeps two.

From a former club house to a quirky cottage, this refurbished cabin has been adapted to offer a refreshing escape for all to enjoy. It's open plan and has no steps. There's an en-suite shower room with specialised non-slip flooring, grab rails and shower seat. If you want to watch the wildlife, explore the beach or indulge in some history, this cottage provides you with a little bit of everything. Sleeps five.

Dudmaston Bunkhouse, Shropshire Situated in a peaceful hamlet in the Shropshire countryside, Dudmaston Bunkhouse is a wheelchair-friendly holiday cottage. It's got a wheelchair-accessible bedroom, wet room and separate accessible toilet. It's great for large gatherings, and all the communal rooms are situated on the ground floor, so everyone can be included when socialising with friends and family, or for work away days. There's also plenty to keep everyone entertained in the local area, from beautiful days out at the Dudmaston Estate, to restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. Sleeps 16.

This converted barn, on a quiet part of the Attingham estate, is on one level and wheelchair friendly. It has adjustable hob and sink units in the kitchen. It's next to four other barns, and they share an enclosed garden, with a lawn and a firepit ready for barbecues. Forge Barn also has a dining patio. Outside the barns you’ll find electric car charging points, a bicycle store and a dog shower. You’ll have free entry to the Attingham Park’s Regency Mansion, Walled Garden and Field of Play, as well as other National Trust properties in the area during opening hours. Sleeps four.

This rustic, wheelchair-friendly holiday cottage is situated in the picturesque, rolling hills of the Shropshire countryside. The ground floor is fully accessible with a wheelchair-friendly bedroom with a lower level bed, which can be made as a super king or two singles. There's also an accessible wet room, communal living area, which is all on one level and an accessible kitchen with features to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Sleeps 7.

Fancy a woodland retreat where all the family is catered for? Nestled in the unspoilt wooded valley of Aeron, this fairy-tale cottage is the ideal accessible holiday. The two-storey cottage is a perfectly equipped disabled holiday cottage with everything accessible on the ground floor, from generous space to a modified level access en-suite bathroom with grab rails and a free-standing shower seat. With the exposed beams, traditional furnishings and a warming log-burner, nothing shouts comfort more than this. Sleeps 6.

With its beautiful stone walls, large wood-burning stove and idyllic views of the Vale of York and Hambleton Hills, this disabled access holiday cottage is a perfect retreat for couples. Newly refurbished, the 18th-century farm building has been restored using traditional materials as well as incorporating modern green technology, giving it bundles of character. Thoughtful modifications allow the cottage to be widely accessible to everyone, with a gentle entrance slope, step-free environment and a bathroom with a wet room shower. Sleeps 2.
