We have some unusual gifts, to treat the ones you love. For those who love to accessorise, we have a selection of items you won't find on the high street, including locally made jewellery. If that someone is more outdoor orientated, then check out our walking essentials. For the budding chefs, we've a range of cookbooks, and some foods to help inspire. Alternatively, if you're popping round to a friend for a meal, why not take an English Wine or local beer?

Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer something savoury, enjoy a little tipple or prefer something softer, there is something to tempt you. Discover our selection of jams, marmalades and chutneys; chocolate, sweets and biscuits; and locally produced Anno Gin, Westerham Beer and Biddenden wine, cider and apple juice. For the cooks among you, there are flavoured oils and dried mushrooms.

We have gardener's essentials such as secateurs, tools and kneeling pads, as well as fun and quirky ornaments. There's always room for something extra in the garden, so from late Spring to early Autumn we have a good selection of garden plants for you to perfect your borders.

Our selection of books has titles for all the family. There's a selection of stories, games and activity books for children, and colouring for grown ups too. The cookery books have some yummy treats, but there's also history, natural world and books to make you laugh.

Second-hand books

Peruse the titles in our second-hand book shop in Laundry Cottage, open daily from 11am - 3pm. Do you have books you no longer need? Then why not drop them at Visitor Reception or the Coach House shop. Every book you buy or donate helps fund our conservation work and the on-going improvements to the garden and estate.
