Rob Biddulph returns to Chartwell after a sensational summer. Follow the fox through the garden on a festive family activity trail inspired by his much-loved picture book I Follow the Fox.

Step into the story of I Follow the Fox with this festive family trail through the garden at Chartwell. Inspired by the enchanting picture book by bestselling author and illustrator Rob Biddulph, families can follow the fox's journey and take part in a series of seasonal activities along the way.
Explore the garden, enjoy creative challenges and help find the little fox on this winter adventure.
Once you've completed the trail, return to the visitor centre to collect your prize.
Trails cost £3.50 and include a prize. (Normal admission or National Trust membership applies. Under 5s enter for free.)
Extend your visit inside the house (timed-entry house ticket needed) where each room celebrates Sir Winston's love of painting as part of this year's theme, Churchill's Colourful Christmas.
Garden activities are available 10am opening–4pm closing time (last entry 3.30pm). House opening times are 11am–3.30pm (last entry 3.10pm). Selected rooms in the house will be open and decorated for Christmas from 27 November to 3 January (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

Scanning your membership card helps ensure Chartwell receives credit for your visit.
