Booking your visit to Rainham Hall

We look forward to welcoming you to Rainham Hall. Tickets to visit the house can be booked in advance but there are walk up slots available on the day. The Community Garden is free to enter and does not require booking. Discover how to book your ticket and what to do on arrival.

When can I visit?

The house can be visited on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at:

  • 11am
  • 12 noon
  • 1pm
  • 2pm
  • 3pm.

How to book your visit

Please book your tickets before you visit. You can choose a one-hour slot for the day you wish to visit.

  • Please book one ticket per person, except for children aged five and under as they don’t need a ticket.
  • New booking slots are released on a Friday for visits in the following two weeks.
  • Members will need to bring membership cards when visiting as these will be checked on entrance.

Access for all

If you need to bring a carer or essential companion to accompany you as a disabled visitor, you can book a carers ticket at the time of booking, free of charge.

If you are unable to book online you can call the booking team. We are unable to make any bookings at the property as the booking system is managed centrally.

Changing your booking

If you set up an account when you made your booking, you will be able to amend the date/time of your booking online up to 24 hours before the date of your visit, or by calling 0344 249 1895

If you are a member and can no longer attend, please let us know by giving us a call on 0344 249 1895

Arriving at Rainham

Please head to the courtyard via the Broadway entrance as soon as you arrive to check in.

The timeslot that you choose is for your arrival time. Please ensure that you arrive at the property within good time.

Visiting the Community Garden

Members and non-members can visit the Community Garden without booking and for free.

The Stables Cafe

The cafe is open Wednesday- Sunday 11-4.00pm with a selection of snacks, cakes and sandwiches.
