Outdoor playtime fun for little ones and their grown-ups in the grounds at Polesden Lacey. Daily from Saturday 22 November to Sunday 4 January, 10am to 4pm. Perfect for quieter mid-week visits.

Bring your toddlers and pre-schoolers to let off steam in a dedicated, open-air Tiny Explorers' play area in the grounds this Christmas. Let imaginations run wild as you play, run and explore. Follow the White Rabbits in the grounds to find it near the Beech Hut kiosk. Free after normal admission.

Lewis Carroll's classic tale comes to Polesden Lacey this Christmas as the house and grounds turn into a festive Wonderland. Sat 22 November to Sun 4 January 2026. Closed 24 & 25 December. 10am-4pm (last entry to house 3pm).
Story Explorers - Christmas fun for pre-schoolers
Bring your little story explorers for a morning of festive fun with a Christmas story, rhymes and nature-based craft activity. Wednesdays 3, 10 and 17 December from 10.30am until 11.30am.
Christmas relaxed hours in the house
Relaxed hours are designed for anyone who would prefer to experience the decorated house in a calmer environment. They will take place on Thursday 27 November, 4 December, 11 December and 18 December between 10.30am and 11.30am.
