'Once Upon a Time...' Croome's Fairytale Christmas

Every room on the ground floor will be dressed for the season, with each one bringing a different fairytale to life through imaginative displays and Christmas decorations. The magic continues into the Basement, where you can discover even more festive scenes alongside the tea-room and visitor facilities.
Important information: 

• Over the winter, the house is open from 11am – 4pm.
• Last entry to the house is at 3.30pm.
• No timed tickets are needed for the house in 2026, so you can visit at any point during your day. At busy times, you may be asked to wait briefly before entering.
• We will be opening the house for Relaxed Sessions on select days throughout the Christmas period. During these sessions, visitor numbers will be reduced with sensory resources available to borrow. More information on how to book these sessions will be available in mid-October.

The festive magic continues outdoors, with some of Croome’s most iconic spots transformed with Christmas decorations and fairytale scenery. Wrap up warm and explore the parkland on a winter walk, with plenty to discover along the way. Dogs are welcome too, so four-legged friends can join in the adventure.
Important information:

• Dogs are welcome in the parkland but should be kept on a lead and under close control.
• The park is open until 4pm, and the car park gates will be locked at 4.30pm.

When you need a break from exploring, cosy up in the RAF café or House Tea-Room with a warming hot drink, paired with a seasonal treat like a mince pie. Don’t forget to browse the shop for some last-minute Christmas presents, where you’ll find plenty of gifts, treats and familiar favourites to choose from.

• The RAF café will be open daily from 9am – 5pm throughout winter.
• The House tea-room will also be open daily form 11.30am – 3pm.
• Hot food is served until 2.30pm in the RAF Café.
