Barry Mays chairmaker and wood craftsman

Barry's craft store displaying a range of bespoke wooden items

Barry has been with us at the mill for fourteen years, making traditional and contemporary craft items from locally sourced timber.

Visit Barry's studio at Cotehele Mill to find an array of bespoke items, handcrafted from locally sourced timber.

Barry's collection ranges from walking sticks and coat pegs, to bookmarks and children's fairy doors.

Barry's wooden stools, celebrating local timber, are fast becoming collector's items.

From 2nd June, his studio at Cotehele Mill will be open five days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday.
