Dogs are welcome on the lead

For those with pre-booked tickets, dogs are welcome in the landscape garden after 2pm between 7 March – 8 November, and all day, every day outside of these dates.

Please help us by keeping your dog on a lead and picking up after it when in the landscape garden. Dogs are welcome across Stourhead’s countryside areas all year round, but you will need a pre-booked ticket to access our car park.

There are five great estate walks at Stourhead that are ideal for exploring with your dog year round. The walks take between 1 hour and 2½ hours to complete. 
 

Farm animals

We’re home to lots of farm animals so please help us and walk your dog on a lead. If cattle approach it may be appropriate to let your dog off the lead.
 

Parking

The car park is open via pre-booking only, please visit our events pages to book your ticket. The car park offers limited shade, and it's available on a first come first served basis.The team are on hand to help if you do need to find some shade for your pet pooch and will do their best to help.
