Autumnfest at Arlington Court
Explore the grounds on a fairytale-themed scarecrow trail, created by local schools, community groups, and volunteers. Keep an eye out for favourites like Puss in Boots, Rapunzel, and other magical favourites. Inside the house, discover the harvest table and beautiful floral displays, while outside head to the gardens to see the Atlantic giant pumpkin and a colourful gourd display.Find out more

What's on this Christmas in North Devon

A Nutcracker Christmas – Coming to Arlington Court in 2025

This Christmas, step into a spellbinding Nutcracker world as Arlington Court is transformed into the enchanting lands of the classic story. Wander through rooms filled with shimmering snow, blooming flowers, and sweet delights, brought to life with twinkling lights and dried flowers from the garden.

Christmas opening times

22 November - 18 December
Sat - Tuesday, 10am - 4pm (last entry to the house 3pm)
19 Dec – 4 Jan*
Open daily, 10am - 3pm (last entry to the house 1:30pm)
*Excluding 24 - 26 Dec

Evening openings at Arlington Court 

Tuesday 2,9,16 December. 10am – 7pm 
Discover Arlington after dark, when the Christmas magic comes to life. Pick up a tasty festive treat from the tea-room or toast a marshmallow on the fire, take part in family crafts or explore the Nutcracker display in the house. 

Normal admissions apply for these events, booking not required.
