Easter adventures across North Devon

Join us for an Easter of adventure with trails at Arlington Court, Lorna Doone, Heddon Valley, Baggy Point and Woolacombe. With varied trails at each location and activities such as rabbit racecourses and balance like a bumble bee there is plenty of family fun to get involved in.

Fri 29 March - Sun 14 April from 10am - 4pm. Arlington Court's trail starts from the 23 March, for those looking for a quieter time to visit.

The price of the trail is £3 per child and includes a trail map and a chocolate egg or free from alternative. Normal admission/ parking prices apply.

Lorna Doone Family Fun day, 3 April - Our free family fun days run between 11am and 3pm on Wednesdays during the school holidays. From crafting to nature discovery, there is something for everyone.

Sunset photography walks at Woolacombe down, 2 & 9 April - Ever wanted to learn how to capture your favourite views, looking to escape for some time outside for a couple of hours or just really love photography? Night time rockpool rambles at Combesgate beach, 5 April & 6 May - Are you ready to discover what rockpool residents come out after dark? Join the beach rangers with UV torches to explore the wonderful rockpools of Combesgate Beach, near Woolacombe. Booking essential:

Reptail Rambles in the Woolacombe Dunes, 6 April - Join our ranger Jos for a wander through the dunes, hunting for reptiles and seeking out spots where snakes & lizards like to bask, all while finding out more about these amazing creatures and what you can do to help protect them. Build a bat box at Baggy Point, 9 April - Help us to create habitat for some wonderful wildlife. We’ll be building bat boxes for some of the species living around Woolacombe, including barbastelle, noctule and greater horseshoe bats.

Heddon Valley Biobltiz, 11 April - Join our ranger team for a day of learning about and discovering nature in the Hunter’s Inn garden from 11am-4pm.

Heddon Valley night walk, 11 April - Join our ranger team on a night walk through the Heddon Valley. Learn all about the nocturnal wildlife that call the valley home and have a go at detecting some bats with our bat detectors. Please do not bring dogs to this event. Booking essential, visit:
