Mischief in Miniature brings Beatrix Potter’s much-loved tale to life, featuring the mischievous mice Hunca Munca and Tom Thumb. This enchanting experience delights visitors of all ages with miniature scenes inspired by The Tale of Two Bad Mice, alongside imagined antics the pair might get up to at Hill Top.
As if they’ve scampered straight from Beatrix’s pages, tiny felted mice can be spotted in corners and crevices throughout the house. Soft candlelight and lanterns add an extra touch of magic as you explore.
This experience accompanies the exhibition ‘Pets to Page: The Tale of Two Bad Mice’, which reveals the real-life inspiration behind Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Two Bad Mice (1904).
