Christmas at Lacock

The lights will be twinkling at Lacock again for Christmas 2025. The Community Christmas Tree festival returns on 29 November to set the Cloister glittering with twinkly lights and handmade decorations, and whilst the house is closed for the winter deep-clean the Great Hall is re-opened from 22 November for Christmas decked out in festive finery. Find Mother Christmas storytime in the grotto Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 -21 December, with crafts in the Bothy and letter writing in the North Pole Post room every day.

Christmas at Avebury

Christmas 2025 at Avebury included decorative displays in Avebury Manor, the chance to meet St. Nicholas, and Christmas markets in the barn. Please check back nearer the time to see what's in store for Christmas 2026.

In 2025 we invited you to step back in time and immerse yourself in a Regency Christmas at Mompesson House. Christmas at Mompesson started on Friday 21 November and ran until Tuesday 23 December, Friday - Tuesday, 11am-3.30pm (last entry at 3pm).
