Christmas at Lacock 

The lights will be twinkling at Lacock again for Christmas 2026. The Community Christmas Tree festival returns on 28 November to set the Cloister glittering with twinkly lights and handmade decorations, and whilst the house is closed for the winter deep-clean the Great Hall is re-opened from 28 November for Christmas decked out in festive finery. Find Mother Christmas Storytime in the grotto Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 - 20 December, with help-yourself crafts and letters to Father Christmas in the Botanic Garden Bothy every day.

Join us from Saturday 28 November for A Very Avebury Christmas in the manor, story time with St Nicholas, and six Christmas markets in the barn.

Christmas at Mompesson House 

You're invited to step back in time and immerse yourself in the magical Regency world of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Christmas at Mompesson starts on Friday 20 November and runs until Tuesday 22 December, Friday - Tuesday, 11am-3.30pm (last entry at 3pm).
