Christmas at Tyntesfield 

For Christmas 2024, visitors were emersed in Christmas Past at Tyntesfield. They followed the family reindeer trail, tried their hand at craft workshops, experienced a festive carousel ride and soaked in the Christmas spirit with festive decorations in Tyntesfield House and across Tyntesfield Estate. Tyntesfield combined Christmas traditions with wider community themes through stunning art installations, innovative decorations and interactive experiences. Christmas 2024 has now finished at Tyntesfield. Please check back here closer to Christmas 2025 when you will see updates of all the exciting plans we have in store for you.

Christmas at Dyrham Park 

Visitors are invited to go back in time on a journey with Christmas through the ages. The house will be adorned with decorations from different eras, there will be a family trail in the parkland, and a giant wreath and Christmas trees will be dotted around the 270-acre site.

Christmas at Prior Park 

The 12 Days of Christmas will be coming to the garden for 2024, with magical interpretations of this family-favourite carol. Explore the garden and watch it come to life, with fun activities to discover.

Christmas at Lacock 

The lights were twinkling at Lacock once more for Christmas 2024, with santa's sleigh in the Courtyard by the 20ft tree. The Community Christmas Tree festival returned to set the Cloister glittering with twinkly lights and handmade decorations and the Great Hall was decked out in traditional decorations. Mother Christmas settled down in the grotto to read another Christmas story, and visitors could create their own decorations and post a letter to the North Pole in the Botanic Garden Bothy.

Christmas at Avebury 

Christmas at Avebury begins on Saturday 30 November and includes the chance to meet St. Nicholas, Christmas markets, wreath-making, and our popular winter walks around the stones.

The timber frame ceiling of Avebury's 16th Century Dovecote decorated with black drapes, hanging paper star ornaments, warm fairy lights, and a crescent moon decoration featuring golden star and comet designs.
