Spring egg hunts at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal
Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.
Nature is waking up at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal with daffodils blooming, baby deer appearing in Studley and birds filling the sky with song.
Following the recent government announcement, we're delighted that we'll be able to welcome local visitors to our Easter adventures in nature trail at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal. This will be taking place until 25 April 2021. There's lots of fun to be had with your family. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end!
Pick up an adventure trail and follow the map to complete 10 fun activities during your visit. Discover a giant bird’s nest, say hello to a tree and make friends with a flower – there’s no limit to the fun you can have in nature this spring! There’s a yummy chocolate reward to complete your visit too.
When is it happening and how can I take part?
The trail will be taking place until 25 April
10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm)
£3 per trail (plus normal pre-booked admission) with a chocolate egg reward.
What else do I need to know?
You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you might need to book your Easter visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day. Tickets are released every Friday for the week ahead.
To keep in line with government guidance, we ask you to stay local and support your nearest Easter egg hunt. We expect the Easter bank holiday to be popular this year, so please note that the Easter trails will last for as long as stocks last and booking will be essential.
In the meantime, as nature starts to come alive for spring, join us in welcoming the first delicate petals of blossom on the trees, the tweeting of birds and the warmer, longer days ahead.
Once you've completed your trail, why not continue to help nature thrive at home with these fun crafts?
