Explore Lanhydrock this winter
Wrap up warm and head out for a bracing winter walk around the ancestral home of the Agar-Robartes family.
Get your blood pumping on the woodland cycle trails
Take advantage of our cycle hire, open every day except Christmas Day. Hire a bike or bring your own. The three graded trails mean there is something for everyone, from beginners and families to riders looking for a challenge.
Warm up with a festive treat
When you’re done, come in out of the cold and treat yourself to a hot drink or a meal at our Park Café. If you’re in the mood for something more luxurious, Christmas meals are available to book on selected dates at the Servants’ Hall restaurant.
Victorian Father Christmas
Did you know that Father Christmas used to wear green? He's a very popular chap and unfortunately he's fully booked this year.
Help prepare a Christmas Feast
The kitchens are bustling with busy servants preparing for the grand Christmas Day feast. Can you lend a hand? Stir up the Christmas pudding and stamp out some gingerbread men for the big day.
Make a wish
Drop in and grab a cushion whilst our Storyteller whisks you away to discover the Lanhydrock Christmas tale. You can also leave a wish on the Wishing tree, dress up like a Victorian and even pose for a photo with Lord and Lady Robartes. Don’t forget to tag your photos online.
Do some last-minute shopping
The gift shop and plant centre are open throughout November and December. Why not give the gift of membership and help look after over 500 magical places forever, for everyone.
