Kids toys, games and tools at Morden Hall Park

Kids with bird spotting binoculars at Morden Hall Park Garden Centre

Kids are an important part of Morden Hall Park. That’s why we’ve set aside a corner of the Garden Centre just for them. The products you’ll find there reflect the National Trust’s emphasis on education, play, and the great outdoors.

If you’re looking for ways to get kids out in the vegetable patch, we’ve got a range of child-sized tools. Our spades, forks, trowels, brooms, wheelbarrows, boots, socks and gloves mean they’ll be able to get stuck in with you.

If you want to get up close and personal with wildlife, we’ve got paint-your-own bird boxes, bug inspectors, pond-dipping nets, bug inspectors, butterfly worlds, ant worlds, and even spider worlds.

For outside play (and Morden Hall Park is perfect for that) then we’ve got plenty of kit. There are balls, throwing disks, tennis sets, croquet kits, Velcro catchball, kites, and foam rockets.

For little ones who'd prefer to stay inside, we have plenty of jigsaws, learning puzzles, maps, and make-your-own roads and railways. We’ve also got a range of kids’ books, including eye-spy, sticker books, pop-ups, bedtime stories, crosswords and colouring books.

Kids who want to expand their minds should get to grips with our scientific sets. You can grow crystals, make bubble shapes, control a solar-powered rover, play with sensor sticks, and slime time, or even dig up a dinosaur with a palaeontology kit.
