On the night of 16th October 1987, a devastating storm tore through the South and East of England. Eighteen people lost their lives and an incredible 15 million trees were brought down. This commemorative exhibition gathers a unique selection of stories, photographs and archive items. Open daily until 19 November 11am – 3.30pm.
What happens after a tree dies? There is a lot that goes on and it's full of bugs, plants and fungi. Follow the trail of wooden leaves through the garden to discover the hidden world of decay. Mon 11 Sept to Sun 19 Nov. £1 per trail, normal admission applies.
