A winter tradition
The ancient tradition of Wassailing returns to Saltram again this year and we invite you to make a din and toast to the good health of our orchard.
Saturday 27th Jan, 5-7pm.
Join the ranger team in this ancient tradition of Wassail where they bless the orchard for 2018 crop. Booking essential in advance. Bring wellies and torches and gather round the bonfire for a pork bap, juice and cider.
How much is it and how do i book?
£10 Adult £5 Child (up to 18). Available to buy in the welcome centre in person or from business support by phone. Booking is essential.
Can i bring my dog?
Unfortunatley dogs are not allowed at this event
Other useful info
Meet at the duck pond at 5pm where you will have a bit of a rough terrain walk to the orchard, we recommend you wear wellies and warm, waterproof clothing. Due to the nature of the walk it is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Bring anything noisy, whistles, pots and pans and rattles! ***Veggie option available on request when booking***
