Looking for some refreshments during your visit to Saltram? Or perhaps you're looking for some retail therapy? With a choice of cafes and shops, and coffee trailer, there are plenty of options on your visit to Saltram.

Eating at Saltram

Whether you fancy taking tea the old-fashioned way or just want to grab a quick coffee, The Park Café and The Chapel Tea-Room at Saltram are ideal places to relax in beautiful surroundings.

The Park Café

The Park Café serves light lunches, sandwiches, snacks, and a selection of hot and cold drinks. On warmer days, how about treating yourself to an ice cream and even pick up a dog friendly one for your four legged friend?

Seating is available inside, or you could enjoy the sunshine in the Stable Courtyard or alongside the duck pond.

The Chapel Tea-Room

The Chapel Tea-Room serves a selection of fresh cakes, scones, loose teas, coffee and cold drinks all on traditional china.

With indoor and outdoor seating, and views across the lawn to the house, it’s a perfect place to meet a friend or reunite with family.

The coffee trailer

The coffee trailer on the estate is open on weekends and school holidays enabling you to grab a quick coffee and a snack to accompany you on your walk.

Facilities for your dog

There are water bowls for dogs located at The Park Café entrance, within the Stable Courtyard and outside the Welcome Centre.

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

The second-hand bookshop

Saltram's second-hand bookshop is full of stories, knowledge and inspiration just waiting to be re-discovered. Pop in and see what’s on offer.

How to donate books

Due to the popularity of the second-hand bookshop, we're often in need of books to fill our shelves. If you have any unwanted books that need a new home, we would be happy to take them. Just ask at the Welcome Centre.
