Following the impact of the coronavirus crisis we are sad to say that Saltram will not be running Enchanted Saltram this Christmas. This winter it's all about wintry walks, warming cups of hot chocolate and a mooch in the shop this festive season, oh and let's not forget a winter adventure with Peter Rabbit.

Bobble hat at the ready there's walks for every ability this winter. Whether you want to take a longer romp and follow route 27 from Saltram to Plymbridge and onto the moors, or an easy stroll around the garden. Wrap up, take a walk and treat yourself to that warming treat at the end.
You can download two of our quieter walks below, follow waymarked routes in the parkland or pop into the Welcome Centre for more information and maps to help you.
This walk follows parkland and woodland, providing views of the estuary and Blaxton saltmarsh, where the woodland flowers are particularly beautiful at spring time.
A Peter Rabbit™ Winter Adventure Trail

Peter Rabbit winter adventure activity trail
***Due to the New November Lockdown we now cannot confirm the dates of the Peter Rabbit trail. The time and dates of the trail will be shared on the facebook event page and on the Saltram website as soon as we have confirmation so please check back for updates. Thanks for bearing with us***
Peter Rabbit’s friends need some help finding items to see them through the colder winter months in the garden. Little ones can lend a hand to some of Beatrix Potter’s well-loved characters such as Squirrel Nutkin, Mr. Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddleduck, and solve the clues to earn their special trail badge and certificate.
There will be nature-themed active challenges to try along the way, as well as a Peter Rabbit selfie station at the end of the trail where everyone can take a picture with their favourite storybook rabbit.
Each Peter Rabbit trail is £2 which includes an activity pack, certificate and reward badge and can be paid for on the day you visit.
The Peter Rabbit trail is held within the garden where normal admission prices apply and pre-booking is advised. Pre-bookable garden tickets are released on a week by week basis. New tickets are released on a Friday for the following week. See the Whats On section of the website to check opening times and to book your timed ticket into the garden.
Before visiting, please always check local and national government guidance on travelling.

See Father Christmas in the stables
Following the impact of the coronavirus crisis, we are sad to say that unfortunately Saltram will not be running Storytime with Father Christmas in 2020. We've been informed that Father Christmas is well and having a quiet one and will be ‘self isolating’ by the fire until Christmas Eve at the North pole.
However he has said that he would be delighted if children could write him a letter this year. From December you can pick up a letter template at the Café, Shop or Welcome Centre and post it in the special North Pole dispatch post box. We'll ensure the big man gets them all, but sadly cannot guarantee a reply.

For the safety of staff and visitors we've introduced social distancing measures and changes to payment, which will be via card only.
