Woodland family play trail at Sheffield Park

There are loads of den building materials in our woodland playtrail

A short stroll across the parkland brings you to our natural woodland play trail. Set in an enclosed woodland copse called Ringwood Toll, you can build a den, climb trees or sit on one of the story-telling chairs and let your imagination run wild. See if you can find the see-saw, slack line and stepping stones.

Meet the green man

Our green man greets you at the entrance to the play trail. Venture inside the Ringwood Toll and you will find more examples of wood carvings created by local craftsmen.

Where is the play trail?

Follow the wooden sign post from the kissing gate opposite the car park. Head across the parkland, through a gate and beyond where another sign will point you left and into Ringwood Toll where the play trail is located.
