Home-made 'zing' you won’t find elsewhere
We’ll bet you won’t be able to say no to our delicious lemon tray bake. This recipe inspired by our lemons in the walled garden will leave your tastebuds wanting more. As our stone gallery used to house an orangery, perhaps it’s no surprise this citrus delight is a hit with visitors.
Sausage, apple and leek pie
Taking a leaf out of our orchard’s book, you’ll find the humble apple featuring as a key ingredient in this pie. Believed in Norse mythology to symbolise rebirth and immortality, for centuries apples have journeyed from plant to pie to plate. We don’t know about immortality, but this tasty ‘morsel’ will revive you after a whole lot of exploring.
Children's lunch boxes are available. Highchairs are available on request. A microwave is located in the ground floor seating area for warming milk.
As the Brewhouse is rather snug, we kindly ask that you leave buggies and pushchairs outside. In good weather, we recommend you sit in our tea garden. This allows you to keep your buggy or pushchair with you.
