Group visits to The Vyne

We recommend group visits between April and October when the grounds are at their best and the house is fully open (subject to volunteer availability).

Depending on your group's interests, we generally don't recommend a group visit in December as the house is only partially open and dressed for Christmas.

Groups are welcome on weekdays outside of bank holidays. Please note that, except for July and August, group visits are limited to term-time only when the site is generally quieter. Thank you for your understanding.

How to book your group visit

1. Download The Vyne's Group Booking Guide for key information (What's here, opening times, getting here, prices and payment information, when you can visit, group packages and how to book your group visit).
2. Selecting a date: Check availability of your preferred date by emailing us at thevynegroupbooking@nationaltrust.org.uk. We'll need at least four week's notice. We can then pencil you into the diary.
3. Booking form: Once we have provisionally booked your visit, we will email over a booking form. Please complete and email this back to us as soon as possible. Please note we cannot confirm your booking without this.
4. Booking confirmation: Once you have submitted your booking form, we can then email over your group booking confirmation.
5. Payment: This is made on arrival on the day of your planned visit in one transaction. Card is preferred. Alternatively, if you have a National Trust account, we will invoice you after your visit. Prices: Discounted group rate: £16.15 per person. National Trust members: free admission. Please note the Gold and Jane Austen packages are an additional £50 per 15 people.

Who is eligible for free entry?
Registered tourist board guides (on production of a valid badge), coach drivers and tour leaders escorting groups of 15 or more. National Trust members also receive free entry, so it is at your discretion whether to refund the entrance fee to members if you have included it in your package – this is not refunded by the National Trust.
