Fill your boots or grab light snacks in the atmospheric 17th-century Brewhouse. Festive menu highlights include turkey baps, Christmas cookies, mince pies, yule log and mince pie hot chocolate.
Browse seasonally inspired gifts in the shop. You might even find a rare copy of your favourite novel tucked away in the second-hand bookshop in the house.Stepping over the threshold, we’ve got hearty one-pots and steaming soups to help you refuel. Alternatively, you can enjoy a sandwich followed by a delicious home-baked cake or cream tea with a fluffy scone, jam, clotted cream and a hot drink.

The original oak beams and stonework can still be seen inside the 17th-century brewhouse, where hops grown on the estate were made into ale. The cosy interior creates a relaxing place for you to relax after a walk in the woodlands or tour of the house.
The kiosk is located in the tea garden, this serves hot and cold drinks and snacks. The Snack Shack is located by Visitor Reception, this serves hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Children's lunch boxes are available. Highchairs are available on request and a microwave is located in the ground floor seating area for warming milk. As the tea-room is rather snug, we kindly ask that you leave buggies and pushchairs outside.
Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

All proceeds from the shop go straight back into vital conservation projects at The Vyne. Please note some products in the photo may not be available to buy at The Vyne.
Tucked away in the servants’ quarters of the house and featuring a bay-fronted window with cushioned seating, this much-loved, welcoming bookshop is well-stocked. Browse novels from crime to comedy, and non-fiction covering a wide range of categories including history, biography, gardening cinema and photography. There are plenty of children's books too, for little ones through to teens.

Discover The Snow Queen’s icy realm, Red Riding Hood’s cunning wolf, Rapunzel's golden braid cascading from a her tower and enchanting decorations inspired by Beauty and the Beast. They accumulated beautiful and important objects and made significant changes to the house during their lives. The Vyne was once one of the most important Tudor houses in Hampshire. For over 500 years, it was owned and shaped by just two families, the Sandys and the Chutes. Each generation enriched the property, resulting in an incredible collection and range of architecture and interiors, demonstrating the highest quality in design and craftsmanship.
